The mandir serves as a major hub for spiritual and cultural activities within the Chicagoland area. To facilitate local community engagement, zones have been established, enabling local residents to interact with families in their suburb.


These zonal activities offer a tailored experience to foster a sense of community.


Our Zonal Activities include:

Parasabha: Monthly community gatherings and dinner

Paragoshti: Monthly discussions on values-based topics

Para Picnic: Annual summer picnic gatherings at a local park

Rooted in the belief that language is the bridge between generations, the Akshar Gujarati Learner classes help students of all levels read, write, and speak Gujarati with growing confidence.


Beyond grammar and vocabulary, our classes opens the door to a deeper understanding of traditional bhajans, sacred scriptures, and the timeless teachings of our Hindu tradition.

Hindi Satsang Sabha

Hindi Satsang Sabha are bi-weekly spiritual gatherings focused on discovering clarity and purpose through Hindu teachings. Presented by swamis and volunteers of BAPS, these seminars presented in the Hindi language guide us towards better living. This gathering is open to all.


Hindi Satsang Sabha will occur on the second and fourth Sunday of each month. Join us in Y.A.C. Multi-Purpose Room 1 from 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.

Sunday Mahapuja

Sunday Mahapuja

Mahapuja is a sacred Vedic worship ceremony in which devotees offer heartfelt prayers and devotional rituals to God, guided by the chanting of powerful mantras. During the ceremony, sixteen offerings are made to God as an expression of love, gratitude, and surrender.


Performing Mahapuja is believed to bring peace of mind, spiritual blessings, and relief from life's emotional, physical, and material challenges, making it a deeply meaningful experience for the entire family.


The Shri Swaminarayan Mahapuja is performed every Sunday morning, from 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. in the Abhishek Mandapam.
